The landing beaches 

Their respective code names made them world famous: UTAH, OMAHA, GOLD, JUNO and SWORD . The films “The Longest Day” and “Private Ryan” paid them a magnificent tribute.

Preceded by thousands of paratroopers during the night, tens of thousands of men set foot on the sands of Normandy in the early morning of June 6, 1944.

History lovers will be able to visit the highlights of this period, both tragic and heroic: Sainte-Mère Eglise and its famous bell tower, bloody Omaha overlooked by the American cemetery of Colleville-Saint-Laurent, Arromanches, Courseulles, Bénouville and “Pegasus Bridge”.
